He graduated from Salisbury State College in 1986. He graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1991. Following his graduation from law school, Steve served as the law clerk to the Honorable James J. McAuliffe, Jr, Judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Maryland from September 1991 – July 1992.

Stephen serves as Senior Counsel for the Eastern Shore Division of Real Estate Title & Escrow.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the Wicomico County Bar Association. Steve has served on the Board of Directors for Salisbury Neighborhood Housing Service, Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County and served on the Education Committee for the Coastal Association of REALTORS®.

In March 2013, Steve was presented “Hero for Habitat” for over 10 years of continued support and for his service on the Board of Directors.

February 2017, Steve was awarded the State of Maryland Governor’s Volunteer Service Certificate recognizing his dedication to the community and years of volunteer service.
